Hunty is a performative audio/visual artwork that is constantly evolving. Taking its cues from drag queen culture and queer iconoclasm the piece features distorted videos of drag queen superstars over which lyrics from the mother of all queens, RuPaul, are recited with a deadpan, almost incantatory delivery. In the live setting, the vocals are digitally processed through layers of echoing delay, adding further depth to their ritualistic quality thus transforming the space into 'The Church of Ru'.
